BDBD is Proverb 13:21

Why does misfortune pursue the sinner? Why is good and prosperity the reward of the righteous? The answers are the same for both. God’s nature and character does not change. God created everything based on his nature and character. The person who is in sync with God’s character and nature has a better life. The person who is not in sync often meets misfortune and disaster.

From time to time I have either listened to young children perform a concert or watched them dance in sync as part of a school curriculum. Most keep the tempo, play on the cord, and keep in step. Usually, there are a few who did not practice because they just don’t want to do it. The few that are not in sync with the rest become the objects of ridicule and discipline. So is the same with people not in sync with God and his creation.

The Lord God told Moses and the people of Israel, “So be careful to do what the LORD your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left.
Walk in all the way that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.” (Deuteronomy 5:32-33) And the Holy Spirit wrote through Paul, “For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile–the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:12-13)
