A common desire and question Christians have is, “What does a daily life in Christ look like?” New and growing believers especially are interested in knowing what they should cease doing and what they should start doing.
A personal relationship with Jesus must start with changing thought patterns (17) and heart attitudes (18). Before accepting Jesus as lover and master human minds are set on bad thinking patters and heart attitudes and desires. Christians are to substitute those with new thought patterns and heart desires.
A person who does not know Jesus has hardened their heart, having lost all sensitivity to God (18). Jesus taught the parable of the sower where God’s seeds penetrates our being and begins a new life in us. These seeds are the Holy Spirit transforming our heart, out thoughts, our will when we allow him to do so.
A daily life in Christ is to change and renew thoughts and heart attitude. It consist in setting my will on Christ. A sensitive heart towards Jesus is a relationship of faith, hope, love, respect, and submission. Christians daily are to “be made new in the attitude of our minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (23,24).”
